Directions:
It may take a few sessions with your waxing unit and wax applicator to become
proficient. For the best results, be sure to read all instructions thoroughly
before waxing. All it takes is a little patience to learn the right way to wax
and get the results you want.
FOR BEST RESULTS: Before using any new product on your skin, always patch test a
small, less noticeable section of the area you are going to wax. If there is no
adverse reaction after 24 hours you may continue. Hair should be about inch
(6mm) long before waxing. Wax only a small area at a time until you are familiar
with the process. Room temperature should be at least 75˚F (25˚C.). Heat
applicator in waxing unit for 15 to 20 minutes with cover on the waxing unit.
Variations in electrical service may lengthen the heat-up time. The wax
applicator is ready to use if you see air bubbles rising easily to the top when
you invert the applicator. If you do not, return the applicator to the waxing
unit for additional heating. Wait at least two hours after bathing or showering
before waxing to prevent skin irritation.
PREPARATION: Attach roller head to wax applicator after removing plug and place
in waxing unit. Replace waxing unit cover and plug waxing unit into outlet.
Allow wax to warm for15-20 minutes. Do not overheat. (Note: clean+easyWax
applicator is designed to be heated in this waxing unit only). Do not heat wax
or heater in microwave, any other oven or on stovetop. Before waxing, cleanse
skin with soap and water to remove oil, make-up or perspiration, but do not bath
or shower less than 2 hours before waxing. Dry skin thoroughly. Always apply a
light dusting of talcum powder before waxing.
GENERAL DIRECTIONS FOR APPLYING WAX: To start new rollers flowing smoothly prior
to waxing, remove applicator from waxing unit and turn upside down. Wait a few
seconds to allow air bubbles to rise and wax to flow into the roller head. Hold
applicator by the sides at a 45˚angle. Always roll in the direction of hair
growth.
Roll in one smooth motion. Do not roll back and forth. One thin coat of wax is
all that is necessary. Do not squeeze applicator. After applying wax, return
applicator to waxing unit. Keep unit plugged in until waxing session is
complete. Always close cover to maintain proper wax temperature.
REMOVING WAX: Apply wax remover strip and rub briskly in direction of hair
growth for 3-4 seconds. With one hand, hold the skin taut. With the other hand,
pull off the strip in the opposite direction of growth. Use one quick motion
parallel to the skin.
AFTER WAXING: If any wax residue remains on your skin, re-apply the wax remover
strip, rub firmly and remove as usual. Apply clean+easy After Wax Cleanser over
area, rubbing lightly for a few minutes. Repeat if necessary until wax wipes off
with a damp cloth. Do not try to remove wax by washing with water. After use,
return applicator to your waxer, close the cover and unplug. Allow your waxer to
cool then store upright.
WARNING: Do not wax inside nose, ears, on nipples, eyelashes, warts, and moles
or near genital areas. Do not use if you have varicose veins, diabetes,
phlebitis, chapped, sore or sunburned skin, recent scar tissue, eczema or any
other skin disorder. Do not use if you are using Retin-A, Accutane, Glycolic
Acid, Alpha Hydroxy treatments or Steroids.
DO NOT HEAT WAX OR PLACE HEATER IN MICROWAVE OVEN OR ON STOVETOP. DO NOT WAX IF
YOU ARE USING RETIN-A, ACCUTANE, GLYCOLIC ACID, ALPHA HYDROXY TREATMENTS, OR
STEROIDS.
